Kathryn has joined our trust highly motivated to contribute to Hillary House moving forward in its engagement with the community, and student leaders in particular. She had watched the progress of the House being moved and then opened.

She brings her skills as a self-employed contract accountant and business advisor to our financial strategy. A member of the Institute of Directors, she has been active for many years on the boards of other community groups including Rotary, tennis, guiding and Scouts. Tasked to work on fundraising for the House, Kathryn will call on her experience as a fundraiser for Scouts New Zealand, Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School and Rotary. As a trustee for her local Rotary club, Kathryn has served on the District Committee of the Rotary Foundation since 2015.

Kathryn is also an enthusiastic supporter of literacy standards for young people, working closely with Duffy Books in Homes and has a keen interest in helping people with learning difficulties.
