Michelle Teirney, Trustee

Michelle became a trustee in 2017.  She is currently Executive General Manager, Strategy & Support Services for Manukau Institute of Technology.  Michelle is an experienced financial and commercial leader and has previously held finance and project leadership roles with some of NZ’s largest organisations in the public and commercial sectors.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce and, with a passion for lifelong learning, went on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration, followed in 2012 by a Master of Management with Distinction. 

Michelle is passionate about using her skills to add value to the community and business sectors. As a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Directors in NZ, she brings financial expertise to her governance role.
