Patricia Mackenzie is the Development & Philanthropy Manager at the Antarctic Heritage Trust in New Zealand, a not for profit which cares for amongst other sites Sir Edmund Hillary’s legacy in Antarctica. Originally from the United States of America, Patricia has been in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years, working primarily in fundraising for global organisations. She moved to New Zealand in 2018 and became a citizen in 2024.

She was interested in joining Hillary House as a Trustee after working with the South Auckland community through Antarctic Heritage Trust since 2020. Though she is based in Christchurch, the mission of the house and future vision connects with her passions around leadership, development, and youth related work. She looks forward to using her background in fundraising, marketing and relationship management to support the Trust's work.

Patricia's previous governance experience includes board roles through Rotaract, Rotary, as well as global poverty relief advocacy organisations in the USA and New Zealand.
