Tim works as a management and business consultant in both the commercial and not-for- profit sectors. He has a background in technology, management, finance and organisational governance. His community involvement has included serving on local and community boards, and working with business associations and community groups.

 

Tim was attracted to join the Hillary House Leadership Centre Trust because of its objectives, along with the quality and enthusiasm of the other trustees. Sir Ed recognised he was a member of a team as he climbed the world’s highest mountain and in other expeditions, and Tim sees this focus reflected in the Trust. Tim believes Sir Ed’s leadership qualities are fundamental to what is needed, not only in adventure and humanitarian areas, but also in organisations.

Facilitating the development of leadership and other supporting skills through Sir Ed’s example, is a key vision for Tim as he joins this dedicated team of trustees.
