Hillary House Leadership Centre Trust
Hillary House Leadership Centre Trust 20

Hillary House Leadership Centre Trust was formed on 25 August 2010 with the support of Chapman Tripp.  After seven years of fundraising, Sir Edmund Hillary’s former home was moved, re-sited and opened as a Leadership Centre on 29 May 2014.

The strategic aims of the Trust are to offer opportunities for student leaders to learn in Sir Ed’s own house about aspects of leadership.  The Trust is focused upon building the heritage and legacy of Sir Ed through a Visiting Programme for Student Leaders and Senior Citizens.

The Trust is responsible for all aspects of governance, funding, long-term sustainability and maintenance of the House.  All current trustees are volunteers.
